Our goal is to make children happy first – and parents happy as a result, because to us, a family holiday truly matters. And since we love taking care of our guests, we’ve created a special itinerary for your evening walks through Milano Marittima, to help you discover its charm, its artistic corners and vibrant atmosphere – and maybe even head back to the hotel with a beautiful Liberty-style lamp under your arm!

Milano Marittima – you may not know this – was built from scratch in the early 1900s, born from the desire of the Milanese elite to have a seaside retreat where sea bathing was seen as a wellness therapy. It had to be elegant and stylish. That’s why, strolling through the streets of Milano Marittima, you’ll feel suspended in time, surrounded by the Liberty style that defined the past century.

Wondering what to see in Milano Marittima?

Summer is full of chances for evening walks. We’ve put together an itinerary to make your visit easier and help you make the most of your time. It’ll be worth it – your senses will be delighted. Just step out of the hotel and follow the street in front of you toward the canal. In only 5 minutes, you’ll reach the white entrance arch of the “Vialetto degli Artisti”. Along the Canalino of Milano Marittima, artists, creatives, artisans and designers gather for the summer and showcase original works – handmade or in limited editions. Every evening from 7:30 PM to midnight, under warm ambient lights, you can admire unique artistic and eco-designed creations – the perfect stylish souvenir to take home.

From the “Vialetto degli Artisti”, every Tuesday all summer long from 6:00 PM to midnight, just a few steps ahead, you’ll find yourself on Viale Bologna where you can dive into the scents and fragrances of the “Giardino dei Semplici”. This open-air market of natural and herbal products is the place to discover and buy dried flowers, minerals, medicinal herbs, organic food, and everything related to well-being and holistic living. A walk that will certainly delight your sense of smell – and who knows, maybe even inspire a healthier lifestyle.

Once you’re at Rotonda 1° Maggio, on the last weekend of June and the first weekends of August and September from 5:00 PM to midnight, you can continue along Via Matteotti and admire the many treasures of the exhibition “L’Antico e le Palme”, now a summer tradition. You’ll find beds, mirrors, armchairs, silver objects, lace, vintage accessories and furnishings, all from highly selected and qualified exhibitors. A true treat for collectors and curious minds – and a perfect chance to share stories with your children, or pick up a truly valuable item.

If you want to go all out, you can even book a guided tour of Milano Marittima's Liberty district, starting from Rotonda 1° Maggio. The tour leads you through the garden city designed by its founder, Giuseppe Palanti, to the elegant holiday villas that tell the town’s story and unmistakable style. Advance booking is required, and the tour is free for children under 10. Another experience to treasure, to relive together on cosy winter evenings – and a great way to learn something new about the local heritage.

So, happy strolling through the streets of Milano Marittima!
